All asset records in the IT Asset Management Pack retain historical information. You can find out who made certain changes to an asset and when they were made. Examples of records that retain their history include hardware assets, software titles and software licenses.
Changes to the life cycle of a hardware asset are reported in the Hardware Asset Details report.
